BOMACARE only engages professionals who meet our documented standards. This statement summarises those standards for the public.
1. Vetting
- Verified national ID and KRA PIN.
- Current, verifiable professional licence with the relevant Kenyan regulator (e.g. NCK for nurses, KMLTTB for lab technologists) where applicable.
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the DCI.
- Two reference checks, including one from a recent employer or training institution.
- Structured interview and skills assessment.
2. Training
All professionals complete BOMACARE onboarding covering safeguarding, infection prevention & control, incident reporting, professional boundaries, and use of the BOMACARE app. Clinical staff receive additional refreshers relevant to their scope.
3. Supervision
Every case is overseen by a designated care coordinator. Random spot checks and post-visit satisfaction reviews are standard. Serious concerns trigger an incident review and, where appropriate, suspension pending investigation.
4. Confidentiality
Professionals sign a confidentiality undertaking. Breach is a disciplinary matter and, where warranted, is reported to the relevant regulator.
5. Continuous improvement
We audit outcomes, complaints and satisfaction quarterly, and use the findings to update training and clinical guidance.
6. Reporting a concern
Report concerns to info@bomahomecare.care. We acknowledge within one business day and provide an outcome as soon as reasonably possible.
