These terms apply when BOMACARE arranges a professional to attend at your home or another private address you nominate.
1. A safe environment
- Please provide a clean, well-lit space for the visit and, where relevant, running water and hand-washing facilities.
- Restrain pets during the visit.
- Ensure a responsible adult (18+) is present, especially for visits involving minors or vulnerable adults.
2. Respect and safeguarding
Our professionals are entitled to a workplace free of harassment, intimidation, discrimination or unwanted advances. Any such behaviour ends the visit immediately, without refund, and may result in account suspension.
3. Valuables
Please secure cash, jewellery, keys and confidential documents before the visit. Professionals are instructed never to handle personal valuables that are not part of the care plan.
4. Photography and recording
Recording of any kind requires prior, explicit written consent from BOMACARE and the professional. Clinical photos (e.g. wound tracking) are taken only with your consent and stored securely in the care record.
5. Additional tasks
Please do not ask a professional to perform tasks outside their scope (e.g. driving your vehicle, running errands, heavy lifting, plumbing). Additional care tasks must be booked and paid through BOMACARE, not privately.
6. No poaching
For 12 months after a visit, you agree not to engage the professional privately outside BOMACARE. This protects the professional's insurance cover, supervision and continuity of records.
7. Incidents
Report any incident, accident or concern within 24 hours via info@bomahomecare.care or WhatsApp. We investigate every report.
