BOMACARE is committed to making its digital services usable by everyone, including people with disabilities and people using assistive technology.
1. Standard
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This is an ongoing effort, and some parts of the service may not yet fully conform.
2. What we do
- Design for mobile-first, single-column layouts that work in low-bandwidth settings.
- Use semantic HTML with meaningful labels, roles and landmarks.
- Support keyboard navigation across interactive elements.
- Maintain adequate colour contrast for text and controls.
- Provide text alternatives for informative images and icons.
- Avoid autoplaying audio and unexpected motion.
3. Known limitations
- Some third-party embedded components (payments, maps) may not fully conform.
- PDF documents older than this statement have not been audited for accessibility.
4. Feedback and alternative formats
If you encounter a barrier, or you need information in an alternative format (large print, plain text, WhatsApp voice message), contact info@bomahomecare.care or WhatsApp us. We aim to respond within 3 business days.
5. Enforcement
Should you remain dissatisfied, you may contact the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner or another appropriate Kenyan authority.
